Miami Social – sucks ass!

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

I’ll admit it, over the last few years i’ve turned somewhat of a reality TV junkie. Normally it’s been reality shows on the History Channel: I love “Ice Road Truckers” and I got totally addicted watching “Ax Men”. Now I am getting addicted to “Pawn Stars”. I even watched Housewives of Orange County when it first came on so I guess I have a pretty high tolerance for a variety of reality shows. But, I finally saw one that is so fucking bad even I can’t stomach to watch more than the 2.5 episodes i’ve already been tortured with: “Miami Social”!

There’s so many things I hate about this show, I don’t even know where to start. And really, I am not going to bother going into all of them, because it’s not even worth the trouble. But I have to at least comment on the two gay guys on this show, because aside from the fucked up “pseudo-reality” format of the show itself, what makes the show so bad are these two primadonna queens who are the epitome of the stereotypical gay guy that makes me embarrassed to be one myself. I don’t know either of their names, and honestly I am not interested enough in either of them to expend the energy necessary to look them up and find out, so for the sake of ease we’ll just call them Douche I and Douche II, as noted below:

They are both physically unattractive, intellectually vacuous, they have no presence when they enter a room, and all do is bitch and whine and complain each show from minute it starts until the minute it ends. Good god someone please put a muzzle on these two, take them to the pound and put them both out of their misery! What was Bravo thinking when they cast these morons? In fact, what was Bravo thinking when they cast this entire show? The only thing even remotely interesting about this show is Katrina’s ex-husband (who is straight of course, it’s always the straight ones who I think are hot), and unfortunately he’s not on it enough for me to watch it just for him. Overall though, it’s not just that Miami Social is bad pseudo-reality, it’s worse than that: it’s bad boring pseudo-reality. If you haven’t seen this yet – don’t bother. It’s not worth wasting that one hour of your life that you’ll never ever get back again!
